Soup Delivery FAQs

Are soups delivered chilled and ready to heat?

Yes. Every soup arrives fresh and chilled, so all you do is heat, serve and enjoy.

How should ready-made soup be stored and reheated?

Keep it chilled at 0 to 5°C and use by the date on the pack. To reheat, microwave a bowl on high for around 3 minutes, or pour the bag into a pot and simmer for 2 to 3 minutes. Full steps are on every pack.

Can I order soup in bulk for a group or event?

Yes. Our 1.5kg family soups feed around 5 each, so order a few varieties for a crowd and heat as you go. Soup is a great, fuss-free way to feed a lot of people, which makes it popular for catering school and sporting events, workplace and office lunches, community and church gatherings, fundraisers, and family celebrations.

What soup sizes are available and how many people do they serve?

Soups come in a 1.5kg family size that feeds about 5, plus 450g single serves for one. Mix and match to suit the table.

When do I need to order by?

Our cut off is 9am AEDT, at least 3 days before your selected delivery date. Delivery days and windows vary by location.

When will my order arrive?

Your order arrives within your chosen delivery window (12am to 7am, or 8am to 6pm). We cannot guarantee a specific time within that window.

How long does the food last?

The shelf life shown on each product is the minimum, so your order will often arrive with more time than that, especially the hot meals. You'll find the use-by date listed on each product on the site. Anything marked with our freezer-friendly icon can go straight in the freezer for later. Salads are best enjoyed fresh and aren't suitable for freezing.

Can I mix meals and salads in one order?

Absolutely. Add any combination of meals, salads and sides to the one cart and it all arrives together in a single chilled delivery.

How do I prepare and serve my order?

Wondering how to prepare your delicious Salad Servers Direct meal? Our salads are ready to eat straight from the fridge, and our hot meals just need a quick heat. See our serving and cooking instructions. Just note that all our salads and meals arrive without serving bowls or utensils, so you'll need to supply your own.
