What types of slaw and coleslaw are available?

We make a range of slaws and coleslaws, from Creamy Coleslaw to Corn & Coriander, Japanese Slaw with Sesame Mayo, and dry slaw mixes. Browse the collection to see what's currently available.

Are slaws delivered chilled and ready to serve?

Yes. They arrive fresh and chilled. Our dressed slaws are ready to serve straight away (just give them a toss), while the dry slaw mixes come undressed so you can add your own dressing.

What sizes are available and how many people do they serve?

Our slaws come in large 2kg to 2.5kg sharing sizes, perfect for feeding a crowd. For smaller serves, you'll also find coleslaw in 300g and 600g in our small salads range. Allow about 200 to 300g per person.

How long should slaw be kept refrigerated before serving?

Keep it chilled at 0 to 5°C and enjoy by the use-by date on the pack. If you've dressed a dry slaw, serve it soon after for the best crunch.

When do I need to order by?

Our cut off is 9am AEDT, at least 3 days before your selected delivery date. Delivery days and windows vary by location.

When will my order arrive?

Your order arrives within your chosen delivery window (12am to 7am, or 8am to 6pm). We cannot guarantee a specific time within that window.

How long does the food last?

The shelf life shown on each product is the minimum, so your order will often arrive with more time than that, especially the hot meals. You'll find the use-by date listed on each product on the site. Anything marked with our freezer-friendly icon can go straight in the freezer for later. Salads are best enjoyed fresh and aren't suitable for freezing.

Can I mix meals and salads in one order?

Absolutely. Add any combination of meals, salads and sides to the one cart and it all arrives together in a single chilled delivery.

How much salad do I need per person?

As a rule of thumb, allow about 200g to 300g of salad per person, so one of our 2.5kg party salads feeds around 10 and a 600g salad does 2 to 3, depending on what else is on the table. See our Easy Events guide for menus by guest count.

How do I prepare and serve my order?

Wondering how to prepare your delicious Salad Servers Direct meal? Our salads are ready to eat straight from the fridge, and our hot meals just need a quick heat. See our serving and cooking instructions. Just note that all our salads and meals arrive without serving bowls or utensils, so you'll need to supply your own.
